pet insurance

Edit By:How To Pet
Q:Anyone know of any good ones ive been looking on the internet and the basic package seemed reasonable.

Does anyone have there pet insured and is it worth it?
A:we Insured Odin. I wasn't prepared to have to spend $3000 in vet costs if he gets hit by a car or something. Better safe than sorry.

We went with pet plan. The trainers and behaviourists and rescue we got Odin from all recommended it. We have the one just above basic I think....but because we have a "premium breed" it cost a little more...like $15 a month or something.
A:thanks i will look into theese i want to insure the dog i get but wil have to look into what there insured for etc.
A:Raingirl, 15.00 per month??? I looked into it for Rocky (health ins.) I called a few companys, that was almost six years ago and they said no one would insure a"staffordshire terrier, pit bull, what ever, anyway the other day, with my credit card bill, I got an ad from Presidents choice, they said all dogs could be insured, I called and confirmed that they would insure pit bulls. Yes they will, but there all breed rate starts at fifty dollars a month! I was going to post and ask people about it anyway and then I saw your post. Hmmmm, theres a huge difference there. I would think it would be more for bulldogs as they have alot of health issues don't they?
