Q:Byron, our new 3 month old puppy, keeps biting the base of his tail and his left thigh. He doesnt do it constantly, but on occasion, when he is playing. This has been going on for about a week now. I have tried to look for signs of bites (or fleas) but dont see anything (also his coat is black and thick, which makes it hard to find anything!)
Should we be concerned or just pawn them off as bug bites?

A:I'd also say fleas...
A:He still isnt on flea prevention. He went in for a grooming today and he still is doing it. We havent been able to find any fleas upon closer inspection though...
