How To Dog Proof a House
Raise blinds high enough to be out of reach. Dogs like to jump on windowsills when you’re gone, and low hanging blinds usually get damaged in the process.

Q:I was just wondering - in anyone's expert opinion is it okay to give my 9 week old kitten a tiny drop (not the whole thing) of Hartz Control Onespot Flea treament for cats & kittens - it is 2.9% Methoprene.
Its just that both by two dogs have recently been to an offleash park and are itching - its probably just the dust (as its very dusty there) but I am going to give them some Flea medication just in case. I know it okay for them as I've used it before my concern is I wanted to give the kitten some cat/kitten one just a little to be safe!
Any thoughts please would be gratefully recieved

A:I'm not sure about the age, but call your vet and ask the technician if she can help you with that question. They are usually pretty good at answering your questions over the phone.
A:Yes, actually I never really thought of that - thanks!
A:I would say,NEVER put fleameds on a 9 week old kitten!!!
Also the Harz fleameds are not recommended on either a dog or cat..
Go to your vet and get Advantage or something similar instead, but even then a 9 week old kitten should not be treated.IMO
