How To Avoid a Dog Bite
If the dog starts to advance towards you, firmly give the command "NO" and "SIT." Most dogs know the commands "no" and "sit." The dog may not sit, but it will sometimes stop the dog from coming at you.
..:::How To Pet
Q:Hi. My welsh terrier is almost 2 and she seems perfectly healthy except she vomits quite often. If it is yellow bile, she will heave first but sometimes several hours after eating she will throw up food with no warning. She usually eats just fine. Sometimes she misses a meal. She plays and seems very happy otherwise. Does anyone have any insight for me?
A:That's what Boo did when he was getting chicken food (he's intolerant to chicken). What are you feeding him now? Maybe you need to change meat sources.
A:When is she throwing up bile - in the morning? How many times do you feed your dog a day? and do you feed your dog at the same time every day??
A:We feed her 2x/day. Morning and evening. She did not tolerate the Medi-Cal dry we feed our Airedale. She was very gaseous. We switched her to Medi-Cal gastro formula, combination of dry with a little bit of canned. The gastro formula did alleviate the gas problem. The bile is usually brought up in the morning and our vet did suggest we give her a few kibble right before bed which sometimes works but not always. This behaviour has been ongoing. It is very puzzling. She has been xrayed but nothing was found.
