How To Train Your Dog to Use the Doggy Door

Teach them how to use the doggy door. If your dog does not immediately grasp the concept that it can get outside through this door, gently pull them through it. If they still resist, trying making a game out of it and luring them through using treats or toys.

Q:Dear Sir,

I have a 15 months old dog named Pounai. She has started leaking her abdomen frequently and keep scratching which causes red spots mainly on her abdomen and also used to bite her breast quite often. She is losing her fur too. She eats rice with vegs & non-vegs and has good appetide. She is quite active and very fond of playing but usually pee when she gets over excited. Please advice.

A:I think you are talking about Licking? First off her diet of just veggies and rice is bad! Dogs need meat!

Did she have puppies recently? If not I would take her to the vets..their might be an infection in the teets.

Be on the safe side I would take her in period and get advice about a proper diet ok?

A:Totally agree with amaruq!! Dogs are omnivores!! They need more meat in their diet than carbo's though. I take it, you're a vegetarian? And if your not, then do you know anything about dogs?

Thanks alot for the reply. My dog takes both meat & vegs. More often meat. She eats whatever I eat & very fond of fruits like apple, oranges, grapes & bannana sometime. She is not pregnant. I never let her out of my apartment. Please suggest what medicine could be best to reduce her licking. I think she feels scratchy all the time. I used to give her bath twice a month with sampoo with little of detol. Kindly suggest more tips.
