I have a rather bizzare issue. My usually vocal cat has not been able to meow in full volume for a few days. All he is able to do is squeak out a few pathetic meows. Is there something wrong?

A:Ummm maybe you should take it to a vet...
A:Was he any more vocal than usual in before he lost his voice? Sometimes they will actually meow or yowl so much that they can lose their voice just like we can. Or he could have a sore throat due to an infection. Does he sneeze, cough, have runny eyes or seem quieter than usual? Is he eating?
A:Since he was so vocal before, I would take him to the vet asap. He could have an infection or be ill and this is his way of "telling" or showing you.
