Q:Yesterday,while I was on my Pc in another room,I heard this racket in my den
I run in and find a squirrel attached to my floor to ceiling Yucca-tree and a hole in my patio-door screen
My three very BRAVE cats,looked like puffed up fur-balls,but did nothing,just had a dumb very confused look on their faces..
Anyway,I sort of panicked,worrying he would run into the rest of the house,with three cats after him,but I opened the patio-screen and with a giant leep he was back outside,phew!!
Well,I now once again have to replace the screen,but I have to find something a little more durable than the nylon mesh type!!
The squirrels original target,was a basket of peanuts keep just inside the door,I think I might change the location of the basket

A:You can buy a pet screen here at hardware stores. It is way stronger. The cats can't even claw through it.

A:Thank's,I am going to look into that today...my cats are not a problem,they do not tear at the screen,just run into it ever now and then,when they see something munchie on the deck,like a bird
I have a sort of"pet-squirrel" FiFi,but she has never attempted to get in,I've been feeding her for 3 yrs,she knows her name and comes to me when I call,of course it helps I have peanuts in my hand...
Nothing to be afraid of.....but I do not touch her and they have FLEAS

I had a squirrel try to get into the kitchen screen b4 because a jar of pb was open on the counter.
We replaced it with a metal based screen..no problem now

We had a squirrel running around my mom's house once.
Her house was being renovated at the time and they were working on the roof right above my room on the 3rd floor. For a week straight I'd hear a scratching noise in my ceiling... my mom thought I was crazy until one day there was a hole in my ceiling and a squirrel bouncing off the walls and running from 1st floor back to the 3rd and back down again. We were ALL screaming and opened the front door and he jumped (flew?) from the door all the way to the street under a car!
The squirrel must have gotten in there some how while the workers were doing the roof and was stuck. Poor guy... I guess when they want out (or in) bad enough they will.

A:No,he was not bouncing,he flew out the door
He was climbing the screen inside and when I came in,he jumped onto a really big Yucca I have,then out the door with 3 chicken cats watching
