How To wash your dog
Grab the bottle of dog shampoo and put enough on your dog to get it good and sudsy. Work the soap into the fur, be sure to get the ears and around the face, on its belly and its feet and tail.

Once your cat becomes accustom to you holding their paw while they sleep, you need to decide when you are going to clip their nails. Pick a day where you have plenty of time because it could take awhile to get them done.
When you are ready to clip your cat's nails, wait for your cat to fall asleep. Sit, or lay next to your cat. When I cut my cat's nails, it is always on the bed so I lay next to her.
If you have one of those specialty cat nail clippers, hold onto your cat's paw lightly and slip the nails one-by-one into the nail clipper and squeeze the clippers. You should never cut off more then just the tip of your cat's nails. If you cut to far down you can cut a vein and have to take your cat to the vet.
This could be a long process. If your cat wakes up or moves their paw, don't press it. Be happy that you at least got a few nails cut, or a whole paw. The cat has to sleep again sometime.
