Place the towel around the cat’s back and swaddle him in it as you would a baby. This will make sure the cat with claws does not claw your face.
Cradling your cat with one hand, use your other hand to apply the recommended amount of ear cleaner drops to your cat’s ear. This should be listed on the bottle.
Massage the ear, allowing the cleaner to work through the cat’s ear.
Repeat the process with the other ear.
Free your cat. Allow the cat to shake it’s head for a few minutes to get rid of excess cleaner.
Again wrap the cat in the towel. Using a cotton ball, wipe the excess cleaner off the cat’s ear, being careful not to probe too far into the ear. (outside only)
