How To Stop Your Dog from Jumping
Repeat the process until you see success. Every time that your dog jumps, it needs to be reminded not to. Simply repeat this process, and over time you will notice that your dog eventually stops jumping.
..:::How To Pet
When you first get your Great Dane you are going to need to get him signed up at the vets, and have him get his monthly shots.

After your puppy is vet approved, you can start with the fun. Training is very important for a Great Dane. You will need to start right away on training, since it is such a large breed, jumping training is also nesacary. (no jumping!)

Make sure you keep your great danes nails trimmed back. If you don't know how to cut a dogs nails with out cutting into the quick, then have a vet help!

Make sure you have plenty of food for you large puppy. I would reccomend a Pedigree food. IF your puppy is 4-6 months then a cup in the morning, then one and a half cups at night would be good. let me aware you, that great danes naturally look thin. but you should not beable to see your puppies ribs.

As far as water goes, I give my great danes a unlimited supply. But that is only recomened if you have a fenced in backyard, and he can get in and out as he/she pleases. Yes, at first the puppy will bloat. But after that first time it should not happen again. Great Danes are really good at keeping their diet.

Make sure your Great Dane has plenty of toys. Especially between the ages of 6-14 months, Since these are it's main puppy timings. Make syure they are not small, as your puppy can choke on these tiny toys. Not cloth either. He will tear them to shreds! A nice indstructble toy should suite him fine!
