Look for plastic bags and newspapers on the ground if there are no trash cans around. I live in Los Angeles where it’s never a daunting task.
Find a sturdy stick to pick up the poop if you're in a clean or rural area, and hope there is a trash receptacle looming in the near distance.
Go home and get a plastic bag if you're not far from home (Or if nobody’s looking, maybe you can make an exception just this once).
