How To Train Your Dog to Heel
Train in short, 5-minute intervals throughout the day. Be very patient and positive, and have fun.
..:::How To Pet
The Pad Method is meant as a way to easily allow your dog to relieve themselves in situations when it's not easy for you to always let them out. Such as if you live in an apartment that's high off the ground or if your dog will be more of an inside dog.

The first thing you will need to do is to find an empty room not currently in use (or an area where you may enclose off so when you place your puppy in there, they will not be able to simply walk away).

Next, cover the entire floor area with newspaper.

After feeding your puppy, immediately place them in the designated area for your dog. Keep an eye on them (so they don't simply tear up the newspaper and eat it). Once they relieve themselves, replace all the newspapers and leave only the one that had been relieved on. Take that one and place it on a new puppy pad. Leave the puppy pad on top of the clean newspapers and repeat these steps the next time you have fed your puppy, or after some time of romping around, or after they've woken up from a nap.

Relieving on the puppy pad! In time, your puppy will sniff out the area where they had last relieved themselves and go again in the same spot/area. You must remember to always praise them for going in the correct area and be sure to be strict when they potty incorrectly.

Once your puppy has gone on the puppy pad, you will no longer need the soiled newspaper. However, for atleast three days, keep the entire area newspapered. In time, you may begin to use less and less newspapers to cover the area until your puppy is so well trained, they will go only on the puppy pad!
