How To Keep Dogs and Cats From Fighting
Keep the cat and dog in separate areas at first so that they can get used to the scent and sounds of each other. When you go from one pet’s area to another’s, let them sniff your hands and clothing.
..:::How To Pet
Brush your pet. This simple stroking motion is a way to make your pet feel good. The interaction brings a relaxing and loved feeling to them. The bristles can scratch those areas they can't quite get to as well as remove unwanted hair.

Give them a day at the spa. Any pet will feel pampered after a good day at the spa. Have your pet groomed with a nice smelling shampoo and a fancy haircut. Finish off with a handsome bow tie or dainty ribbon.

Massage your pet. Even a pet enjoys a nice massage once in awhile. There are many good reference books for doing it yourself or have it done professionally.

Loosen the reins. Getting out and starting your day with a brisk walk is good for you and your pets. Early morning before the sun is too hot or early evening is the best time to walk for both of you. You can even pamper your pets with a stroller ride if they have trouble walking.

Buy new bedding for your pet. Just as people love soft new sheets your pets will enjoy new bedding too. Find good comfortable material to really coddle your pet so they can rest peacefully.

Add details. Find that special piece that your pet will feel like a million dollars in. You know--a pink rhinestone collar or a silver studded one could be a real tail wagger. Or what about their favorite toy? The one they can't live without.

Cater to your pet with some homemade treats. Find recipes that are healthy, tasty and easy to make. Let them indulge for a day with something good for them and they'll really feel pampered.
