How To Stop Your Dog from Jumping
Leave your home and come back. Usually your dog will want to jump because it is excited to see someone, generally you.
..:::How To Pet
Byte While sitting outside barbecuing chicken one afternoon, we were serenaded constantly with the sound of a kitten. It never stopped. Unable to find it, we continued our daily activities. I went to my Mom's and returned around 8:00 o'clock that night. The kitty was still meowing! Billy finally found him on the roof. He was a 1/2 lb. kitten abandoned by his Mom and very hungry. "Byte" became #2.

Shorty One afternoon, the kitchen door opened to have our beautiful part Maine Coon kitten walk in and look at me with those precious yellow eyes. "Shorty" became #3.

Star I noticed one morning in feeding our outside cats, that one was missing. There was always a foreboding feeling when this occurred. Days went by and no cat. As I was looking for him one day, I heard a faint meow. The faint noise led me to a pitiful little black and white ball of fur limping home. Something had attacked him. The vet cared for his wounds and "Star" became #4.

Oreo The Thanksgiving of Sylvester's 11th year, we had to put him to sleep due to diabetes complications. A very traumatic time for us. I vowed to give Billy back his Sylvester by our Valentine Anniversary if I could. Sending letters (with picture) to three animal shelters in the area, I requested a call if a Sylvester should appear. On December 26, a call came from an animal shelter. Billy got a late Christmas/early Valentine-Anniversary present when "Oreo" became our new #4 with the loss of Sylvester.

Purtygirl Pulling up in our driveway one day, there was a beautiful, long-haired black cat sitting on the front porch looking at the door as if to say, "May I come in?" "Purtygirl" stole my heart that day and she became #5.

Cracker Walking one afternoon, I happened to hear a faint meow. Upon looking, I found my little outside kitten dragging her back legs. The vet confirmed my suspicions. She had a fractured pelvis and probably from a car. They suggested massive surgery and one of her legs removed. I thanked them and took her home with pain pills. "Cracker" became #6. This little "miracle kitty" is presently walking on all fours with only herself and God to account. Life is awesome!

Miney and Doc Watson. Then there are the outside cats Miney and Doc Watson.
