How To Dog Proof a House
Keep socks out of the dog’s reach. Socks are a favorite chew toy for many dogs. Leave them their own chew toys to play with...or some socks that already have holes. You can also put a tennis ball inside a sock, knot it...and voila...a homemade toy that dogs love. ..:::How To Pet
PETA offers a way for you to make donations in adding them to help animals around the world. PETA is the worlds largest animal rights organization in the world. PETA has 1.8 million members and supporters and you can join to help that number grow.
PETA puts the money that they raise to good use in focusing on the four places where animal abuse is most relevant......
Factory farms
Laboratories
Clothing trade industry
Entertainment industry
You can also help PETA by simply changing your lifestyle into a cruelty-free living. By simply being aware of what you are purchasing and making sure that it does not contain any animal by products or items that are tested on animals will support PETA's movement for a cruel free life for animals. It is a huge battle that can grow if more people will support animals and bring awareness to others.
Check the household items that you buy to make sure they are not tested on animals. Many companies for cleaning products and cosmetics to this day still do testing on animals. With all the testing they have done in the past they should already know what can and can not be used on people. SO why do they continue to abuse animals in this way?
Make sure that you take properer care of your own pets before worrying about helping others. It all starts with how you treat your own, so make sure that you provide them with a warm, loving home that they can feel comfortable in. We get so much from our pets and they ask for so little in return!
ou can also support PETA by purchasing items from their catalog. It helps to support the cruelty-free lifestyle and you can buy so many different products from them that it is amazing. They offer clothing, soaps, lotions, calender's, humane mousetraps, vegan cookbooks, etc. Go to PETACatalog.org to request a catalog for yourself.
Check your own closet. Do you own fur, leather, or wool? If you do you can donate it to PETA or check out Furisdead.com for donating the items. Fur, leather, and wool look better and should be left on their original owner. With so many gorgeous synthetic alternatives these days, it is very easy to stop wearing and supporting cruelty to animals.
Look for items in just about every store that are labeled with....
faux-fur fashions,
pleather,
acrylic,
cotton,
imitation leather,
artificial leather,
microfiber,
man made materials,
polyester,
nylon,
silk-cotton tree,
orlon.
synthetic shearling
Tencel
filaments
rayon
You may think that it is hard to find these items but it is very simple and almost every store carries them. Even mainstream stores like Target, Walmart, T.J.Maxx, Kohls, Payless Shoe Source, etc. carry all the items that are cruelty-free that you can feel good about wearing.
Just remember every person can make a difference! If you are educated about the cruelty that animals face every day in this world you to can make daily choices to help put a stop to their suffering!
