The most important thing to keep in mind is this: this is a birthday party for your cat, and must be planned to make them happy. Cats have numerous personalities and each ones has to be considered and adjustment made to suit their specific needs.
Plan the guest list. Of course, you must not invite any one (human or animal) who would not be warmly welcomed by your birthday cat. A cat birthday party could just be you and your cat. It does not have to include others, since the main goal is the celebration, not the guest list.
Plan the location. The best place to have it would be the place where your cat is most comfortable. This would most likely be in your home or in your yard.
Make sure you have all of your cat’s favorite treats. You could even make them a special birthday cake out of their preferred delight, such as tuna, salmon, chicken, turkey or others. You could also have special “cat cocktails” made from tuna juice or a dairy product.
Plan cat games for your guests, or just provide them with several toys and they will do the rest.
The gifts you buy for your birthday cat will vary depending on their desires. The main thing is to buy them something they will enjoy.
Have fun with your birthday cat, but keep this in mind: the party is over when they decide they would rather sleep, then celebrate.
